Sugar Creek Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in High Ridge, Missouri.
Sugar Creek Golf Course first opened for play in 1990. The course was designed by Gary & Ron Kern.
Stretching to almost 6,100 yards from the back tees and just 4,600 yards from the forward tees, the course is a perfect fit for golfers of all skill levels. This is a hilly course with tight fairways that narrow as you near the green. Water hazards (four lakes) come into play on four holes. The first four holes are pretty straight forward, but then things get very interesting, with a lot of elevation changes and some blind shots. The layout is great; even though the course winds through a neighborhood, you are generally playing fairways lined by heavy woods. The variety of holes is very inventive.
Blue tees: par-70, 6,097 yards, 70.1 / 126
White tees: par-70, 5,376 yards, 68.3 / 117
Red tees: par-70, 4,606 yards, 66.5 / 107

This is the worst golf course I have ever played! The cart paths were rubble, the fairways and tee boxes were overgrown with clumps of weeds, the sand traps were mud, and the greens were fuzzy and slow. Do not go anywhere near this course! The cost of $22 was about $17 too much. ... oh, and to make a horrible situation even worse, there was a "sixsome" in front of me airmailing balls all over the course. No ranger to be seen. I was done with this place after 9 holes. On the plus side, the clubhouse staff were very pleasant - I guess they just forgot to point out what a piece of crap the course was.
